For Brides of the winter!
Like many of the weddings wanting to be a fairy tale, winter weddings have their own "wonderland" charm. If you are about to get hitched this beautiful winter, look out for these styling tips.
Shades of Winter
Forget about the traditional wedding colors like the blues or the obvious reds. Here comes a new palette to make you look like the ice princess you deserve to be on your D-Day!
# MINT - Sight for sore eyes! A bride in the shades of mint and silver, is the top favorite this season. It may look like a difficult color to pull off, but trust me, you will drop jaws with this color. Style your attire in complimenting shades with mint.
Wear a jade ear drop, or and emerald necklace along with a crystal ring (Visit swarovski and Tiffany's). Match your head wear with your dress and shoes, for a more complete look.
Eyes- Dusty Aqua shadow, extra heavy lashes (Rimmel ScandleEyes mascara) and a dainty silver liner.
Lips- Beige buff with a shade of pink and loads of gloss. L'oreal Nude Ballet and Lingerie Pink Lip color.
Cheeks- Highlighted in peaches and cream with a shimmer dust. Mineralise skinfinish- M.A.C. Wear it on you brows and collar bone along with the cheeks.
# LEMON - Fresh and Pretty! For those intimate events in a wedding that need you to glow like the sunshine. Wear Suneet Varma's lemon fresh attire and pair it with yellow sapphire jewelry. Lime green and lemonade are the shades to look for in accessories like a clutch or a pair of amazing Jimmy Choo's.
Eyes - Gold Coral shadow with long lashes and a deep black liner. Coral Wash Sephora.
Lips - Coral Rose is the perfect shade in matte.Chanel Pinky Coral to be precise.
Cheeks- Keep the cheeks fresh in skin tone Pinks. You can choose any brand you like as long as the shade is correct.
# MAUVE - For the dainty and regal. Wear a mauve attire and style it with shades of ash blue and Lavender. Wear amethyst jewelry , purple crystals or deep azure and accessorise with silver shoes and a silver bag (Micheal Kors Silver clutch). Visit Tarun Tahiliani for the perfect mauve shaded ensemble.
Eyes - Ash blue with shades of black shadow, smudged look and thick lashes. Highlighted brows for a strong look.
Lips - M.A.C lavender whip is the ideal shade for the frosty love story.
Cheeks - Opt for a creme blush (Magic smooth souffle- L'oreal) that will give you a natural sheen with a hint of rose on your cheeks.
# GOLD - A wedding fit for a princess! Gold is a natural beauty and never goes out of style ( visit Sabyasachi).
Wear a gold attire with temple necklace or chunky danglers and pair it with rubies and cardinals. It could go a little overboard if you are dressed in gold, head to toe, to avoid this, wear hints of maroon or reds, or you can also opt for greens in deep shades.
Eyes- Dull gold shimmer with hints of black shadow , winged liner with voluminous lashes. Colorbar black liner for the perfect winged look.
Lips - Oxblood is the only shade I suggest (Burberry Oxblood base with a nude gloss). You can also opt for deep scarlet or crimson. Whichever you choose make sure it is bold and royal.
Cheeks - A bronzer will complete the look. You can choose a pink shade , but make sure it has a pinch of dull gold or copper in it, to make a statement. Revlon bronze rouche will give you the right shade.
